OUR STORY
Justin Kukowski was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2005. An athletic, fun-loving 25-year-old man, he left his mark on those who knew him—and on many other cancer patients to come after him.

During the course of Justin’s surgery and treatments, he endured much physical pain and intense side effects. Through it all, Justin was resolute in experiencing things with his family, maintaining strong bonds with his friends and participating within his community, making the most of every opportunity at hand.

Today, the Justin Kukowski Foundation dedicates it's every effort to honoring Justin's loving spirit, working within our community to provide the support & opportunities to our friends & neighbors as they face life's most difficult challenges.
OUR MISSION
The Justin Kukowski Foundation provides support to local families by relieving the burdens associated with cancer treatment.

Just-In Time Grants
The Just-In Time Grants Program provides one-time grants ranging from $1,000 to $3,500 to families experiencing financial hardship due to active cancer treatment.

Person completing the application must be 18 years of age or older

Recipients must be living in or being treated in Minnesota

Grants are coordinated in partnership with Ridgeview and St. Francis Medical Center(s)
Over $275,000 in grants awarded
to 154 families facing the financial strain of cancer since 2016.
